Laminar Air Flow

Laminar Air Flow

A Laminar Air Flow (LAF) Unit is a clean air workstation designed to provide a highly sterile and particle-free environment for sensitive processes in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, electronics, and laboratory applications. The unit works by directing HEPA-filtered air in a uniform, unidirectional flow across the work area, effectively preventing airborne contaminants from entering the critical workspace.

Laminar Air Flow systems are widely used for sample preparation, microbiological testing, media preparation, sterile compounding, and other contamination-sensitive operations where product protection is essential. By continuously supplying clean air, the unit maintains a controlled environment that meets stringent cleanliness and quality standards.
